The academic structure of the university is based on the activities of departments, which provide high-level teaching and research in both practical and theoretical disciplines.

The departments of the Faculty of Coaching are important centers of educational, scientific and innovative activities, the purpose of which is to develop students’ professional competencies, create new knowledge and implement it in practice.

The activities of the faculty include organizing the educational process, participating in scientific and research projects, creating new methodological materials, developing international cooperation and introducing modern approaches in the field of sports and physical education.

The Faculty of Coaching consists of six departments, which provide specialized and versatile academic training in various areas of sports:

  • Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology – provides training for students in the fundamentals of human development and learning processes. The principles of sports motivation, psychological support and social integration are taught here. Students acquire the knowledge necessary for the professional and humane activities of a coach.
  • Sports Games Department – ​​brings together specialists and training programs in various popular sports games (football, tennis, handball, rugby, basketball, volleyball, chess, table tennis, mobile games). Special attention is paid to improving technique and tactics, game analysis, team management, and a high level of practical training.
  • Department of Mass Sports – focuses on sports such as athletics, gymnastics, and water sports, which are widely used both at the professional and mass levels. Students master the techniques of these disciplines, the specifics of teaching, and the multifaceted preparation of athletes.
  • Department of Applied Sports – develops sports disciplines related to defensive skills, special physical training, and applied actions. Training includes the development of safety, strategy, and practical skills in a specialized environment.
  • Department of Theory, Methodology and History of Physical Education and Sports – offers students the historical and theoretical foundations of physical education and sports. Here they discuss the goals of sports education, modern teaching approaches, and interdisciplinary connections of sports science.
  • Department of Sports Management – ​​trains management professionals in the field of sports. The curriculum includes organizational management, sports event planning, sports marketing, resource management, and administration at both the national and international levels.
