How to pass the internal sports tour at the University of Sports:
- Internal sports tour – what is it?
The internal sports tour is an exam that is required for admission to the University of Sports. This tour consists of three sports norms that help the university assess how ready the applicant is for the sports program. The exam includes physical activities that test the physical abilities and endurance of students. - How is the internal sports tour conducted?
After registering for the national exams, applicants who pass the coaching and fitness specialties register at the University of Sports and then go on a sports tour where they pass three sports norms (details can be found at the registration site and on the university website) - Maximum and minimum points:
The maximum score for each norm is 25 points, the minimum is 1 point. The maximum number of points in all three norms is 75 points, the minimum is 3 points.- Within the framework of the Bachelor’s degree program in Physical Education and Sports (Coaching) and Fitness and Health, the sports tour standards in general physical training include the following activities:

What is an internal sports tour and what regulations apply?
The internal sports tour is a mandatory physical test that is held before the national exams at the Georgian State University of Sports stadium. The purpose of the test is to assess the initial physical fitness of the applicant.
The test includes three normative disciplines:
- 100-meter run
- Long jump from a standing position
- Pull-up on a pole (for boys)
- Chair curls (for girls)
Passing the sports tour is mandatory only for two programs:
- Physical education and sports (coach);
- Fitness and health.
Internal Sports Tour - Registration Details
Registration for the internal sports exam begins in the spring and lasts for about two months. The exact dates and the required documentation are published in advance on the university’s official website and in news channels.
Registration is carried out only on site, at the address: Tbilisi, Vazha-Pshavela Avenue No. 76b. Without registration, an applicant is not allowed to participate in the internal sports tour. Registration must be completed by the applicant or his/her authorized representative. If the applicant is a minor, his/her parent or legal representative must be present during the registration process.
The fee for participation in the sports tour is 50 GEL.

Members of the Georgian national team teams in team sports who will participate in the Olympic/Paralympic Games or the final tournament of the World or European Championships (including in Parasports) and/or will gain the right to participate in the specified competitions (Olympic/Paralympic Games or the final tournament of the World or European Championships).

The duration of study for bachelor’s programs is 4 years. For master’s programs, it is 2 years. The language of study is Georgian.

LEPL – Georgian State University of Sport is an authorized higher educational institution. The diploma issued by the university is recognized worldwide. 49 European countries are involved in the Bologna Process. Georgia joined the process in May 2005.
